Mr. Raheja unveiling the coffee table book at the Realty Plus Conclave 2014

Realty Plus, exchange4media group organized Realty Plus Conclave and Excellence awards 2014 on the 10th September, 2014 at JW Marriott, Aerocity, Delhi where Mr. Raheja was invited as Special guest to unveil their coffee table book on 100 best projects in the Country. The program started with lighting the auspicious lamp followed by inaugurating the book with other guests from real estate fraternity. The conclave started with a panel discussion titled "CEO Forum on Modi Effect: Road Ahead for Realty".

The changing face of the Indian economy has had an impact on all sectors, but none as stark as the Indian real estate. The changing dynamics over the last year necessitate a relook at all factors influencing real estate, and as the economy strides towards a new era, the lessons learnt from the past and the opportunities present in the future necessitate dialogue that will decide the future of real estate in India. The broad points for discussion included Is the government doing enough to end policy paralysis and initiate reforms and end red tapism to fast track real estate, How will the budget announcements and policy initiatives taken by Modi government boost housing and construction sector, Changing contours of real estate funding: how it has shifted over the years, Current practices and future trends, Will REITs prove to be the game changer and Need for changes in Policy Framework.

Speaking at the occasion Mr. Raheja praised Modi saying he is one of the most powerful Prime Ministers who knows how to drive India to next level. He stressed upon the fact that Economy need a clearly defined vision and competent economic management. It also requires proactive, industry centric decision making along with sweeping reforms in number of areas to drive faster growth. From the standpoint of both the economy and the real estate sector, reforms are specifically requires in areas, such as slow approval processes, supply bottlenecks, opening up key sectors like FDI and infrastructure creation through PPP model. He was also bestowed with scroll of honour by exchange4media group.
